Who we are

What personal data do we collect and why

Contact forms: name, email, message. Used only to reply and provide the requested service.

Newsletter sign-ups (CASL compliant): email and consent timestamp. You can unsubscribe anytime from any email.

Orders/downloads (if added later): billing email, name, order details (no card data stored on our server—handled by your payment processor).

Usage data (analytics): pages visited, device/browser, approximate location (IP anonymized where possible). Used to improve content and performance.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to run the site, and optional analytics/marketing cookies (only with your consent).

Your choices: use the cookie banner to Accept All, Reject Non-Essential, or Set Preferences. You can also clear cookies in your browser.

Essential: session and security.

Analytics (optional): Google Analytics 4 or Matomo (pageviews, events).

Embedded content from other websites

Videos and embeds (e.g., YouTube, TikTok) behave like you visited those sites. They may collect data/cookies per their policies.

Who we share your data with

We share data only with service providers needed to operate the site (e.g., email service, analytics). They process data on our behalf under confidentiality terms. We do not sell personal data.

How long we retain your data

Contact form submissions: up to 12 months.

Newsletter data: until you unsubscribe or we delete inactive contacts.

Order records (if applicable): kept for legal/accounting requirements.

Your rights (Quebec Law 25 + PIPEDA)

You can access, correct, delete, or withdraw consent for your personal data. Email peter@momentomoment.com. We’ll respond within a reasonable timeframe.

Where your data is stored

Website data is hosted in reputable data centers (via our hosting provider). Some processors may store data in Canada, the U.S., or the EU, subject to appropriate safeguards.
